Town Centre Managers attempting to save Melton's only evening bus service.
Lisa Hammond, Shelagh Core and Councillors are asking Local Businesses to advertise on the 2A West End Travel bus service in a bid to continue the running of the service after County Hall withdrew funding this year.
Melton Borough Council agreed to sponsor the service until the end of July by which time West End Travel and Councillors hope their advertising idea will have brought in funding for the route.
The target for advertising is to work with the evening economy, and advertising is currently being targeted at the restaurants and pubs.
